Challenge #7
Use one of the following quotes on your layoutÖ

A mother holds her children's hand for a while their hearts forever.

"A mother is she who can take the place of all others but
whose place no one else can take."
-- Cardinal Mermillod

"Of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a mother."
-- Lin Yutang

If at first you donít succeed, do it like your mother told you.

Re: Challenge #7
Carrie that is beautiful and i love your handwriting

here is mine, i love how it turned out

a close up of the ribbon bar i did, i used a scrap piece of cardstock to attach the ribbon to, i didn't want to risk screwing up the rest of the page if i didn't like it. i love the crystal pins and felt flower

Re: Challenge #7
Done by the skin of my teeth :) I used the 2nd quote and printed it on vellum... I also inked the edges of the picture but you can't see it very well on here.

Re: Challenge #7
Beautiful pages ladies!!!

Tamara - I love the ribbon bar - so elegant!!
Amanda - I really like the offset photo over the two pages - its stands out to me.
Robyn - Great page!! Isnít it nice to be able to use some of that pink paper we have laying around, hehe.
Alicia - Love the photo and the page!! I should have printed mine (I hate my handwriting) but was feeling lazy and donít have a 12x12 anyway.

Re: Challenge #7
Carrie for future referance, you don't have to have a special printer to print 12x12, you just cut your page down to 8x12 and change the size of you page setting... then you change printing to landscape, and voila :) then cut down like normal. Then you'd get the perfect strip just like you put on your page.

I think you have pretty handwriting. I have chicken scratch (DH jokes that doctors would havea hard time reading it, so I rarely write on a page)
