but felt I could share this with all of you. We are thinking that my 6 year old dd might have Tourette Syndrome. I need to see her sleep tonight to confirm, at least that what her Dr. said today is a good sign. She has had this jerk with her head going on for about a week, and getting more noticable. Say a prayer that I don't see it in her sleep tonight.

I didn't see it last night while she slept. But she got up this morning still doing it. So I called and left a message for her Dr. to call me tomorrow, its really bothering me. I need to know what it is!!

That is a good sign that she did not do it in her sleep. It could be a nervous tick so to speak. How old is she?

MinnesotaMommy May 17th, 2007 09:27 PM

She is 6. So last night I went to watch her and I noticed she did it when she stretched. I took her to so her Dr. today and for him to see it. He does not think its Tourettes, but he does think its something and does not want to ignore it. So in 2 weeks we have a appt. with another ped. for a second opinion. And she will decide if she needs a EEG. She was not doing it as much today, so maybe it will just fade away.........
