Have you got plans for July 4th? Are you going to go to any fireworks shows?

We had planned to go to my mother in laws for a cookout but we are suppose to have terrible rain storms here so I'm not sure now what we are going to do. We may just stay home and watch some movies. I doubt we will go to any fireworks shows since it will be raining. I really don't want to stand out in the rain to watch fireworks.

Oh Melissa, that stinks! I hate when crummy weather ruins holiday plans. :(

The weather should be fine here in Tx as far as I know. We are going to my SIL's house. She is grilling hotdogs and making several different dips. I'm bringing baked beans, potato salad and brownies (DH is bringing the beer). She has some fireworks and a swimming pool!!!! Eeeeek!!! :D I haven't been swimming in over a year and I'm already hungry (haha) so I'm excited about the whole shin-dig! The only thing I'm not totally thrilled about is wearing a swim suit. I have issues with the way I look but oh well, I'm pregnant. If I look like a whale then I can just blame it on that, right??! ;)

Happy Independence Day ladies!!! :rundance: Be safe!!

Amy your meal sounds awesome!!! Our 4th wasn't too bad. It didn't end up raining as much as it was suppose but we still didn't do much.

We went out to eat. I've been craving pinto beans and corn bread so DH took me out so I could get some!!

We went to a fireworks display in the town where our summer home is.....kids had a blast playing in an open field! this was on the 3rd. On the 4th we went down to the river and watched the fire works across the river in the state across from us, it was a huge display and the girls had fun once again.....the baby loved both days, even the loud parade, he was all eyes, lol. Girls got a ton of candy at the parade on the 3rd, almost as much as Halloween!
