Drafting and Redrafting
Writers - Do you tend to write a draft, proof-read, then redraft?

Does it depend what you're writing? For example, when I write a poem, nine times out of ten I write it as it comes and leave it well alone. When I try to redraft or improve them they come off sounding pretentious. When I write a review, article or story, however, I do go back and make changes, add bits in here and there, use a thesaurus, etc.
