Interactive Fiction Games
Anyone remember them? 80s to early 90s era, Bob Bates and all the rest...

Did anyone play them and/or have a favourite?

Does anyone still play them now?

I'm talking about the games where you had to read some text on each page which moved the story along and you had to make choices on some screens. A bit like choose your own adventure books, usually complete with dodgy pixellated graphics. Lots of fun lol!

I got REALLY far on a game about King Arthur and then the computer hard drive crashed and lost my place, I never had the heart to play it from the beginning again. I still remember the name of the website I d-loaded it from (you can d-load a lot of these for free) so who knows, I might pick it back up again someday. ;)
