9:00 pm...knock at the door

Hubby comes back in from seeing who it was.
Said it was a police officer, that he had to go move our vehicle.
I of course asked why and he said that someone in our subdivision had just called and complained because some people's vehicles were blocking the sidewalk (the sidewalk runs down the sides of the whole subdivision, and you have it as part of your driveway). So he told him he had to move the vehicle right then.

Ok...who is so anal and has no life? If you are walking by MY house with your dog or even without a dog and cant take a few steps the other way to avoid our vehicle that is in OUR driveway, then maybe you d on't need to be walking in the first place. I am in no way a confrontational person, but if I find out who did call the police station about this nonsense, I will give them a piece of my mind. There are other issues that police can be dealing with, rather than going door to door telling people that some anal person wants you to move your vehicle because they want to walk there. I think it is ridiculous.

Who is with me? Am I the one being anal? Would you have called the police about this? (And it wasn't just ours...it was also the neighbors on each side of us)

And just a little FYI..not that I think this matters because I think we should be able to park wherever we want to park in our driveway...but we were "staggering" our vehicles so that my daughter who has a cast on both arms can get out of the vehicle better without having to squeeze in/out.

Let me know your opinions on this!

oops..ok it wasn't quick sorry!

LOL! I would have done something smart alecky and put my dumpster in the sidewalk next. Or, I'd have put one of the inflatable pools there. That's just really petty.

OH, or, put a big sign out..."Is this good enough for you?!?!?!?!"

I'm sorry Denise. I feel sorry for the person who called the police. Obviously they have no life! I would be mad!!!!
