clomid vs serophene
I was just wondering if anyone has had serophene (i think that was the name the doc mentioned)? I did 2 failed rounds of clomid and was wondering if there really is a difference. I have a third round of clomid that i filled but have not taken.

Thanks ladies!!

Re: clomid vs serophene
I still am not sure lol. I tried google but it seems like they are essentially the same thing. My re appt said i was surging instead of being at cd3 but i follow up april 11. Hoping in the meantime i can get a bfp but who knows.

Have you tried clomid with any success? I have read about femara (not sure of that is how to spell it) as well, seems like that works for some best of all.
Good luck!!

Re: clomid vs serophene
Last Thursday I saw my fertility specialist for the first time and she did some testing before we sat down to talk. That day she told me that I have pcos and talked about my options. I will be starting serophene next cycle while being monitored by her.

I wasn't completely shocked about the diagnosis but its still overwhelming and confusing.

Re: clomid vs serophene
Yes agreed stephiecope. I have a follow up 4-11 but at my first appt she said serophene works better than clomid but when i googled it it sounds like it is the same just a different brand name. I did 2 rounds of clomid but no monitoring with ob, i have a 3rd script refilled but havent used it yet. Hope all goes well for you and your get a little bean soon!
