Positive OPK??? Or no??
Sorry if this is a repost... I don't know where my first post went!
Ok, CD17 and a clearly positive OPK!! But my digi says negative!! What the heck!?
I've had 5-6 days of EWCM. It was more a few days ago but I did find some today as well.

Here's my progression

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
Idk about the digital because I've never used them before.. did you use the same urine for both? That's definitely a positive opk though!

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
Yep same urine! And this OPK looks darker in person too! It's very positive. But I got an open circle on the digi. Uhhh!

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
Personally I would ignore the digital and bd like there's no tomorrow lol. This is a positive opk for sure, and I'm almost 100 percent sure u will o tonight or tomorrow

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
I wish I wouldn't have even taken the digi because now idk what to think! We've been BDing and we will continue... But now I'm really questioning it!

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
It actually still looks a hair lighter than the control line to me but not by much. Test again this evening! And course start BD regardless!

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
Really?? You think it looks lighter? The line on the left??

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
All that matters is that you are getting it on with your husband. Looks positive to me. Try not to worry. Just keep on with your man. :) you'll know in a couple weeks if you had the right timing. EWCM is the important thing. Have fun!

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
My 6 pm OPK was negative. So what do y'all think? I always test at SMU-- it's always my darkest, but usually not positive. This morning it was obviously positive, now negative again.... I just don't know!!

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
I would call that a positive. If it is negative now, i say you caught your surge. I never use digitals tho. Do you temp? You will know soon enough if you do.

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
I don't temp. I tried, but it's nearly impossible with my crazy work/sleep schedule. I just gave up and decided to use OPKs... But now I have conflicting results :/

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
I will say that you caught the beginning of your surge :) I would count it as positive :) I would def count 48 hours from that +OPK as O date to be safe :) Thinking of you

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
So is it ok to only get 1 positive OPK?

Gamer_Princess June 22nd, 2013 10:53 PM

Re: Positive OPK??? Or no??
Yeah I think the OPK was slightly positive but if you had held your pee for like an hour or two longer the digi MAY have been positive as well. It also depends on how long of a hold it was for that OPK :)

OPKS are very very tricky because some are so hard to read at times. If it were me, I would count it as positive and DTD every other day until expected period. That is literally what I did in April as I was not charting my temp because of vacation and I got my :bfp: :)
