Workout Check In March 12-March 18
Ladies, we have been SLACKING!!!! At least in the check-ins, lol. I don't know how you all are doing with the working out/eating. I know I have definitely been slacking with working out. I only went on Monday and Tuesday last week. I have been eating fairly well though. I started my USPS orientation today. I got up at 4:30 so I could shower, get ready, and relax before I had to go. The whole day was spent in a classroom type setting and it was a VERY long day! It wasn't terrible, and everyone who was there was really nice. But, I was exhausted because I couldn't sleep last night and got up so early. ZZZZZZZZ!!!!! I am pretty close to ready for bed now. I want a decent night's sleep. I am going to try and get to the gym tomorrow night when I get home, but it was definitely not happening today! On the good side, I am getting paid for my training and they are reimbursing mileage too, which is great!

What is going on with you all? Katie, I saw your post about your RE appointment!! Yay!!!!! I am SO glad they are doing all of that for you! This is a great step forward for you! Becky, I hope you are doing better. How have the gym workouts been? Any fun new stuff? Melissa, I am going to check out that fruit salad recipe! I have a feeling it's going to really get me in the mood for summer! How are you feeling? Have you been up to any workouts?

I am DEFINITELY going to the gym today! My body is pretty upset with me and I feel like a blob! It will be hard, but I know it's going to feel great once I'm done.

I just got home from the gym!!

Feeling really good actually... starting to get used to it and wanting to go and spend more time. We're eating a little better too, and drinking less. So all in all things are good!

On the TTC front I got a positive OPK yesterday and this morning's was possibly positive too. So we're DTD like crazy. It's funny to say, but last night when we were lying in bed afterwards, I would have sworn that we did it. It feels silly now, but I really felt that way. I even cried a little.

What's going on with you Sarah? How are things with you and your BF?? I'm expecting you and I and Katie to all have our babies for Christmas!!

I went to the gym today too and got my a** kicked! It felt great though. After the workout, my best friend and I just laid down on our mats and chatted with the instructor. I could've fallen asleep right there! I totally agree with you Becky...it feels good, it makes you want to eat better, and it does make you drink less. I hardly ever want a cocktail now that I work out more. Not that I was drinking a ton, but certainly a lot less. I also sleep better too. Have you found that to be true?

Becky, I'm so excited for your +OPK!!! I really hope you get a BFP and that your feeling last night was spot on! Maybe it's mother's intuition! :) I would also love to be able to have Katie and me join you in the Dec DDC.

Things with my BF and I are good. We were going to get together tonight, but he has a lot of stuff to take care of and got a late start this morning so we'll get together tomorrow. I'm still recovering from my 2 long days of job training and today's workout, so I am totally fine with it. Next week, I'll be staying with him all week while I have even more job training so it will work out perfectly with my O timing (unless my body decides to go wacky).

Melissa and Katie, how are you doing? Any workouts? Katie, I'm sure working out was the last thing on your mind today. I'm so sorry AF showed...yet glad she finally did. I know that sounds strange, but I think you know what I mean. Melissa, how are you feeling? I think I'm going to go to the store and get ingredients for that fruit salad. I can't stop thinking about it.

Hey ladies. How is everybody doing? No working out for me but I figured I could still cheer you ladies on until I can start working out again.

Sarah did you try that fruit salad yet? It is so yummy. I am finally getting back to where I have an appetite again. The stomach bug that has been going around is absolutely terrible. that's what started my contractions last week but I think it's gone and so far the contractions have not started again. I still have one here and there but nothing consistent.

How are everybody's workouts going? Sarah are you managing to keep up those workouts while working. So glad you are working at the USPS. i do know they have great benefits.

Becky how are you doing? I hope that in a week or so you get a beautiful BFP!!

Katie hope your doing good.

I go back to the dr on Friday and hopefully I will still just be 3cm dialated. I want baby to keep baking for awhile longer. Thankfully they did give me steroid shots so if he comes early, his lungs will be better developed. I'll let you guys know how it goes on Friday.

Now get to those workouts ladies!!!

Melissa, I'm so glad the contractions have let up! I hope it stays that way for a while longer. Good luck on Friday. I hope the doctor has good news for you!!

I haven't gotten to the gym at all. It's been too hard with my commute to training. I may try to get in for the ab/toning class tonight if I get back to town early enough. I haven't even had the time to get stuff for that fruit salad, but it is still on my mind! LOL! This is the worst possible week for job training. The weather is gorgeous and it's supposed to get up to the mid 80's today and tomorrow (unheard of for March in ME)...and we're stuck in a classroom all day! My lunch break is only 1/2 hour, otherwise I'd walk outside during lunch.

How is everyone else doing? Katie I'm so excited for your appointment!! Becky, I hope you're feeling better and get a BFP!!

The weather is gorgeous here also and I'm stuck inside just laying around but I know it's best for baby. I did go outside and sit on the bench last night while DH played with Jackson.

Sarah how long are you doing your training for? Hopefully once it is over you will have more time to yourself and can get to the gym. And yes you definitely have to try that fruit salad. it is so good. Even my little boy loves it so I know it must be good..lol.

Good Luck today Katie!! Can't wait to see an update.

I've been bad this week ladies... not even one time to the gym!

Today is the first day that I've even left the house! I'm pretty sure that when I test tomorrow I'm gonna see a faint pink line! I don't think I've ever been so nauseated or heartburny! Bleh! I'm hoping it's a really good sign and it means that my progesterone is through the roof and my little bean is growing like crazy!

So glad that you're feeling better and your little guy has stayed put Melissa!

Sarah, are you training for data entry for the USPS?? I did that a couple of years ago as an extra job...

Katie, thinking of you and hoping you have a fabulous appointment!

Melissa, I'm glad you were able to spend some time outside. The sunshine has got to be good for you, even if it's just for a little bit. That vitamin D goes a long way.

Becky, I soooooo hope you are feeling pregnancy symptoms and get your December baby! I probably won't be able to see any posts you make after you test until mid-morning/afternoon...unless you get up super early and test. There's a 2 hour time difference, so if you get up at 3 or 4 tomorrow morning and test, I will be able to see it before I leave. :giggle:

Katie, I'm sorry that your appointment didn't go as well as you'd hoped, but you are heading in the right direction now and I have total confidence all of this will work for you!

I didn't make it to the gym today. My instructor at job training mentioned that she wanted to check out the casino and asked me to show her around. I managed to talk another girl into going too. We only stayed for a 1/2 hour and didn't really do much in terms of gambling, but it delayed me so it was too late to get to the gym. Becky, I'm in training for a new position that the USPS has created. My title is Postal Support Employee. Basically, I am going to work every Saturday in place of the Postmaster and also fill in at surrounding post offices when needed. Right now, I'm only going to be guaranteed 4 hours per week, but I'm hoping that there will be a demand for me at the other offices so I can get up to full time. Plus, my Postmaster will be retiring in August and I am hopeful that I can end up getting that job. So far, I've had 2 days of orientation, then this week is 40 hours of training in a classroom setting, then I have another 40 hours of on the job training. My OJT is at a different office than where I'll be and it's a couple hours away so they will be putting me up in a hotel for that. Right now, I'm not far enough from my training so I have an hour commute each way all week. ZZZZZZZZ! Anyway, so far I have learned a ton and I'm really excited about all of this. I had NO idea how much went into getting mail from one place to another. It's really amazing.

Hey girls I'm back! Melissa I can't believe how far along you are. It seems like just yesterday you got your bfp:D Sarah it sounds like you are in a good place, and congrats on getting the job.

Didn't get a workout in today (had a girls night last night that kept me out way past my bedtime), but definitely will tomorrow.

I'm so glad you're back Joanna!! We missed you! How have you been doing? I agree that it seems like Melissa's pregnancy has been flying by.
I don't think I'll be able to get back to the gym until Saturday morning, and I have to say, I really miss it. I don't know if the hotel where I'll be staying next week will have a gym, but I certainly hope it does. If not, I'll have my dog with me so I'll get a little exercise walking her.
