Traditional British/Irish Food - Part 2
When you go abroad, do you try to seek out places that serve traditional British/Irish food or familiar fast food, or do you "do as the Romans do" and try all the local fare?

Haven't been abroad in years, but when I did go I ate whatever the locals were eating. I could never understand why people went abroad to Spain, for example, and hunted out a place serving full English breakfasts and roast dinners.

That must have been hard while preggo! Greek food is very rich.

I tend to try the local food...there's usually a lot of seafood in Greece and Spain which I like not to mention paella, I also like Greek salad and some of the traditional Greek dishes like kleftiko, not moussaka though, that's disgusting (but I have tried it!!).

When i was in Cyprus Sharron i tried the lamb Mousakka and didn't like it at all, another day i tried the Vegetarian Mousakka and i was in heaven, it was georgeous. I've even tried to make it myself but didn't even come close. I think i might have got lucky with that restaurant because even if i ordered it in any other restaurants since it dosn't come close.
