Extremely tipped uterus??
At my Dr appt today the dr said that my uterus is so tipped that my cervix is above and facing the pelvic bone. She said it was either due to my last pg (twins) or from scarring from my c-section. She seemed to think this was uncommon and could cause problems with dilating normally. Does anyone have any experience with this? I want any information I can find so that I dont get pushed into something unnecessarily.

Re: Extremely tipped uterus??
A tipped uterus does not keep you from dilating even if it is from scar tissue. As the uterus grows with the pregnancy the scar tissue will break up and the uterus will no linger be tipped.

Even if it is tipped, as the uterine contractions will force the baby's head down, this forces the cervix to straighten out and come forward.

You will dilate, not to worry.
