They might not desire a medical induction, but they might want to try some things to see if they can naturally induce labor. Here is an easy recipe that you can try to help jump start labor. According to some women, this salad recipe is just what you need to get things going. Keep in mind, this is just a salad recipe and we can't promise you that it will do anything to induce your labor, but some moms say that this salad recipe is exactly what you need to induce labor naturally.

Here's how to make it.

Labor Inducing Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

Romaine lettuce
Watercress
Red cabbage
Balsamic vinaigrette
Extra virgin olive oil
Gorgonzola cheese

Directions:

Rinse and drain equal parts of Romaine lettuce, watercress, and red cabbage. Then tear into bite size pieces.

Toss greens together. Lightly cover salad with Balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Toss and sprinkle crumbled Gorgonzola cheese on top.

Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

To make dressing whisk together 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil with 1/3 cup of Balsamic vinaigrette (or 1 part Balsamic vinaigrette to 3 parts extra virgin olive oil).
