Tater Tot Casserole

Are you looking for a meal your picky eaters will eat? Try this cheesy dish made with tater tots. It’s so good and easy too!


1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup of frozen peas
3 cups tater tots
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large skillet cook ground beef and onions. Drain off excess fat and liquids. Then salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the beef mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish.

In a separate small bowl mix cream of mushroom of soup with 1/2 cup of milk.

Top ground beef with soup mixture. Add frozen peas and stir together. Then cover with 1 cup of cheese. Top this layer with tater tots.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of tater tots and bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until cheese is melted.
