Mariah Carey 'Completely Calm' Through Birth of Twins

By JustMommies

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their anniversary in the hospital -- while they welcomed the birth of their twin babies!

Carey, 42, delivered a healthy baby girl and boy on April 30 in a Los Angeles hospital, her rep tells People magazine.

Their little girl came first, weighing 5 lbs. 3 oz., and their son arrived right after, at 5 lbs. 6 oz.

While Cannon was reportedly very nervous, Carey was cool. "Nick was very nervous and Mariah was completely calm. Mariah thought it was another soft labor and Nick was driving her to the hospital and she very calm and the music was blasting," rep Cindi Berger revealed. "When they walked into the hospital, (Nick) was going the wrong way and the nurse redirected them to go the maternity ward, and I said to her, 'that's right out of I Love Lucy,' and she laughed."

Mom, dad and their two new babies are all doing well.
