Make Your Own Holiday Cards





Make your own homemade Christmas cards with scissors, cardstock paper, glue, glitter, felt and other craft supplies you have on hand. Perfect project for the kids to have their own special





Supplies

  • Cardstock paper
  • Glitter
  • Craft glue
  • Confetti
  • Mini gems
  • Ribbon
  • Cookie cutters
  • Crayons, markers, or paint optional

Instructions:




Use cardstock paper to make fun and festive holiday cards. Fold a piece of cardstock paper and trace desired cookie cutter on paper to make your design. Some examples are snowmen, bells, stars, wreaths, Christmas trees, or bows. Use glue and a little giltter to accent the design. Add confetti, gems, or ribbon if desired.


Another idea if you are artistic is to draw your own designs. If this is being used as a kid craft you can use paints, markers, or crayons and have children decorate the cards with their favorite holiday drawings.


A final example would be to use the cookie cutters and trace the shape onto the cardstock paper. Cut out the center and have your child put her favorite photos on the inside of the card and tape or glue the photo in place to the inside of the card.
