Michelle Obama: First Dog on its Way for Malia and Sasha!

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are keeping their campaign promise to daughters Malia and Sasha – they will get their “first dog” this April.

The AP reports that Michelle told People magazine that the plan is to have the dog join the family during their spring break trip in April.

Michelle also told the mag, on stands Friday, that the girls have been deciding on possible names for the incoming pooch. Two already nixed from the potential monikers have been “Moose” and “Frank.”

Michelle revealed to People, “I'm like, no. Come on. Let's work with the names a little bit.”
According to the wire service, Michelle tells People that of all the various breeds – the Portugese

Water Dog is a favorite.
